Delete your data

You can delete the data Engagement Board holds for you at any time, without contacting us. This page explains every route — disconnecting a single account, removing Engagement Board from Instagram, or deleting your Engagement Board account entirely — and lets you confirm a deletion request that has already run.

Delete your Instagram data

Either of these deletes everything we hold for that Instagram account:

  • In Engagement Board: Settings → Connections → Disconnect on the Instagram account.
  • In Instagram: Settings and privacy → Website permissions → Apps and websites → Engagement Board → Remove. Instagram notifies us, and we delete the account’s data.

What gets deleted: the access token we hold, your media and captions, the comments and commenter details we cached, audience insights, sentiment scores, embeddings, and any drafts or ideas generated from that account. Deletion is immediate, not scheduled.

Delete your YouTube data

In Engagement Board, go to Settings → Connections and disconnect the channel. We revoke the OAuth grant with Google and delete that channel’s stored data — tokens, comments, videos, sentiment data, embeddings, and drafts. You can also review or remove our access yourself at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Delete your whole account

Settings → Account → Delete account. This revokes your connected grants, hard-deletes your personal and content data (profile, social handles, YouTube and Instagram tokens and content, sync state, notifications, and preferences), anonymizes your account record, and deletes your sign-in account. Billing and cost records are kept in anonymized form for accounting, tax, and legal compliance, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Ask us to do it

If you cannot sign in, or you would rather we handle it, email info@secondlifesoftware.com from the address on your account, telling us which account or connection to delete. We will confirm once it is done.
